Sabine Friesz


born 1970 in Graz/Styria






After she had trained as an almoner she studied at the
drama school Krauss in Vienna. She started her career at the
House of Artists 'DieTheater' with the play KRAUTFLUT by Franzobel.
Up to now she had engagements as a free actress in:
House of Artists 'DieTheater', Concert Hall 'DieTheater',
biannual film festival of Munich and she worked together with
Frans Poelstra, Andy Hallwaxx, Beatrice Frey, Hagnot Elischka
and Paola Aguilera.

She was also involved in the actionistical performance by the
artist-group „gelatin“ ARMPIT (biannual film festival in Liverpool/GB)
and CHINESE-SYNTHESE-LEBERKÄSE (Arthouse Bregenz).
Her own production JOY & ROY, a muiscperformance-venture,
ran over three years in Vienna e.g. in the cabaret Renz and
in the Künstlerhauspassage.

In 1998 Sabine Friesz got her first TV-part in the serial
KOMMISSAR REX;
later she played in the 8x45-filmletserial by the ORF in the
episode DAS EIS BRICHT.
„Ernie“ in KOTSCH (regie Helmut Köpping) is her cinema-debut..
